- ―Bran to Meera Reed.
Prince Brandon Stark, also known by his shortened name Bran Stark, is a member of House Stark, the rightful heir to the title of Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North, and a prince of the Second and Third kingdoms of the North. The fourth child and second son of Eddard and Catelyn Stark, Bran wanted to join the Kingsguard when he growed up, but due to being thrown from a tower by Jaime Lannister, he was left crippled below the waist, unable to use his legs. As a result, Bran was captured by House Greyjoy when they captured Winterfell, although successfully escaped North and, eventually, ventured beyond the Wall to find the Three-Eyed Crow. In the books, he reaches the sanctuary of the Three-Eyed Crow, where he prepares to begin his training in honing his warg abilities. In the show, he has completed his training, become the Three-Eyed Raven, survived a White Walker assault, and returned to Castle Black. He later moved to Winterfell, where he was reunited with Sansa and Arya, and later provided testimony in the trial of Petyr Baelish.
